Robbie made a statement in Saturday’s game against Roger Williams by strolling into the try zone untouched to score Wheaton’s first points of the Match. Showing off his versatility, Noodle effortlessly made the transition to wing this week from his normal position of center. Inspiring play on the pitch, as well as devotion off the pitch, make Robbie a crucial part to Wheaton’s success this season and that is why he is the Man O’ the Match!

Man O’ the Match – Jake “The Snake” Pomerantz
Inspiration comes in many forms. For the Wheaton Lyons in their recent victory against Bryant, it came in the form of painful, bone crunching tackles from Jake Pomerantz. The Lyons had been kept on the back foot for the first few minutes of their game, but after seeing Jake slam his opposite number onto Keefe field moral quickly improved. Jake didn’t hesitate about throwing his body on the line for his team and that’s why he the Man O’ the Match! Yeeehawww!

Man O’ the Match – Samuel Lawrence
Starting his first game at scrum half for the Lyons, Sam looked more like a veteran and played a key role in the Lyons victory. Sam ignited the team with several full field runs and also scored his first try. Sam showed the team what playing positive rugby is all about and for that he is the Man O’ the Match! Woohoo!
